Informational/Educational Opportunities

Part of TBA's mission as a local trade association is to provide learning opportunities for its members so they can stay abreast of the latest trends and regulatory changes, as well as discover ways to improve their businesses.

In addition to member forums scheduled throughout the year to address relevant local topics, TBA annually offers:

  • Registered in Apartment Management School (March 25-April 5, 2019): an introduction to property management and the first step in earning a RAM designation
  • Virginia Residential Landlord & Tenant Act Review & Update (April 4, 2019): a full-day seminar conducted by Richmond attorney John G. "Chip" Dicks
  • Fair Housing seminars: offered in both the spring and fall, and conducted by attorneys well versed in fair housing law (next seminar is Aug. 15., 2019)
