The Tidewater Multifamily Housing Council meets the needs of its more than 75 member firms through a variety of programs, focusing on such topics as marketing/leasing techniques, maintenance strategies, landlord tenant and fair housing laws. The council also offers awards and certification programs.

Some of the activities to look forward to in 2013 include: a Fair Housing Seminar Feb. 19; RAM School March 6-May 6; The VRLTA Seminar April 11; TMHC Olympics April 19; and Awards of Excellence Banquet July 18.

Membership dues are $180 for associate members and $1 per rental unit for owner/manager members (with a minimum fee of $180 and a maximum of $2,830). Dues also include membership in the National Association of Home Builders Multifamily Council, and are in addition to the annual TBA dues.
